Colin Bowling

Colin and I went to the shower of a mommy friend of ours yesterday. There were some games played and the winner received a toy prize. I won the last game of the day, so we got a toy bowling set. Before I left, I told the other ladies I just knew Daddy would love playing with it as much, if not more, than Colin. Sure enough, Daddy got home, saw it and opened it right up. So tonight, we got some time to actually play with it with Colin. Daddy set them up and Colin knocked them down. He loved it so much, we had to hold him back so Daddy could set them up before Colin bowled over them. He was just laughing and giggling the whole time! Here are some great photos: (Remember, click on the picture to get a larger view, he's got some great smiles!)

Colin's New Toys

We recently decided to sell our treadmill and turn our neglected workout room into a home office for Brad, a place he can have for just his own. In turn, we are turning our office (in the back of the playroom) into my craft room, so I have a room of my own. This is our Valentine's Day gifts to each other. We've started working on them a couple of weeks ago and plan to have them completed by Valentine's Day.

Well, the disappearance of the treadmill did not make one member of our family happy, Colin. He LOVED to climb all over that thing, he'd play on it for hours at a time.

So, out of guilt, we bought Colin some really cool plastic covered foam blocks made specifically for little ones to climb on. They were delivered on Tuesday and he got to play with them for the first time when Daddy got home that night. He had a blast! His smiles and giggles totally made the cost worth it!
