Everything else was good news. He weighed in at 15.7 pounds, so he is on the lower end of the weight range, but good. He measured in at 26 and 3/4 inches long, so on the higher end of length. He's long and lean (though still my chunky monkey, right CJ?).
He received 3 more vaccines and was feeling it today. Poor guy was running a fever and just wanted his Momma today, not even Daddy could help :(
The doctor did say she was happy and impressed with his sitting up skills, he's pretty much no hands now, and getting better everyday. She also commented on his two little teeth. He'll be starting solids this weekend, cereal for 4 days and then we'll introduce one new food a week, fruits and veggies at first. He'll also get to start drinking from a sippy cup when we are outside and he's sweating. I'm excited about both of these adventures!
That's all I've got for now, I'll leave you with an great photo of my little man showing off his sittin' up skills! (Click on it to make it bigger)

CJ,want a wonderful photo, you look so very happy. That's a keeper. Wish I was a little fly on the wall so I could see you with your first bite of solid food, you seem so ready to begin another phase of your development. Hang in there tomorrow you will feel even better.
ReplyDeleteLove you,
GG
Hi Colin,
ReplyDeleteJust look at you sitting up and smiling so big. Gramma put your picture on her wall at work. I can't wait to see how you like eating solid food. You are growing up so fast.
Love you lots and lots!

Dear Colin, You had a very good doctor report but don't like to think of you having the vaccinations. I hope you are feeling better by now. How did you like your first solid foods? I wish I could have seen you eat. Just like a big boy!! I love you a whole bunch and can't wait to see you again. Love, GGL
