Poll 1

I'll be 30 weeks on Friday, this is the time that all the books, newsletters, doctors, etc. say to start packing your bag for the hospital, just in case something happens. In our case, I think it is an especially good idea to go ahead and do this now, since we will (hopefully) be moving within the next month or so and a lot of stuff is in boxes right now anyway.

So for the first colintravisbaker.com poll, I'd like to hear from everyone out there reading this:

What do you think I should pack in my hospital bag? Leave a comment under this post, or if you don't know how to do that, e-mail me and I'll post it for you :)

  1. OK - First and foremost pack Brad, Crazy and Henry. They need to be close to you at all times. If you have room, Gramma would like to tag along - Ha Ha.
Seriously; pack a very elegant gown to wear. You may not feel very pretty, but you will be beautiful. A few other things for you - brush, eye glasses, undergarments, and slippers. Now for Brad - anything to hold him up as he will be overwhelmed with love, joy, and excitement. As for Colin - outfit to bring him home and maybe a blanket. He will already be covered with lots of love.
My final suggestion is a camera.
With all my love, Gramma (Kathy).

  2. Bring along a pad of paper and a pen so Brad can jot down funny or memorable moments and the times they occured. It is fun to go back and read it later.

  3. Hi mama and papa to be! I think Kathy and Karen covered it pretty well! The only thing I can say is….. Don't forget the bag! I am happy to hear you will be getting the house in order before Colin decides to be here. Night or Day, we are all very excited and anxious to get you all set up with lots of baby shower stuff. See you soon. With lots of love, G. Gramma Lorraine

  5. Rene and Brad,
It appears that every one has covered both your and Colin's need fairly well, I would add to the list Colin's carseat, it is my understanding that is a must before they will let you leave. It will be colder in December so pack warm clothes for both you and Colin. You and Brad get some rest because babies do require a lot of attention. We love you Great Grams B

  6. I thought of two more things...chapstick....and a baby book that guests can sign when they come to the hospital to see you, Brad and Colin.
